As of June 3, 2008, General Insulation named Rey Torres the General Manager for Branch 10, General's Tampa, Florida location.  Please join us as we congratulate Rey.

Rey began his career in the insulation and HVAC industry with S.W. Anderson.  He worked in S.W. Anderson's Long Island City location, where he started in the warehouse.  Here, in S.W. Anderson's warehouse, Rey quickly learned the products and eventually moved from a truck driver, to an inside sales position, finally to the position of Assistant Manager--all within two years.

Rey, looking to raise his family outside of the NYC area, joined General Insulation Company in 1999.  General had an opening in the Orlando, Florida branch, so Rey packed up his family and headed south.

Rey worked in the inside sales department in Orlando for a year, then switching roles to serve as the location's Operations Manager.  A General Manager position arose in the Tampa, Florida branch, and Rey has accepted the position.
